Job Summary of the Logistics Billing Specialist position
Integr8staff seeks a bilingual English/Spanish Logistics Customer Service Representative to manage freight orders, tracks port-to-warehouse drayage, and coordinates order fulfillment. Located near the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, these professionals resolve shipping discrepancies, ensure 24/7 supply chain communication, and process client billing and logistics documentation.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Billing Specialist position
Owns the billing process end to end
Enters shipper BOL data into system, creating D/Rs, and producing, printing, auditing, and troubleshooting customer invoices.
Partners with Sales, IT, Pricing, Collections, and Customer Service to resolve billing issues.
Enter and verify Shipper BOL data into database; rate shipments and check credit terms as freight bills are created
Approve, post, and print all invoices; research and resolve billing issues through correction
Scan, match, and file paperwork to the proper back-up bill in the imaging system (Synergize)
Audit & validate the billing work of the offshore team.
Work with Sales, Collections, IT & Pricing on invoice setup, rebills, customer inquiries, and rates.
Assist Customer Service with quotes, pick-ups, and authorization request emails.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Logistics Billing Specialist position
High school diploma or equivalent are required
Minimum 3 years related logistics, trucking, 3PL industry or billing experience and/or training.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Bilingual English/ Spanish is preferred.
