Summary
You will serve as a FREIGHT RATE SPECIALIST in the INSTALLATION SUPPORT DIRECTORATE of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Duties
Help
  • You will accept, prepare and issue all documentation required in shipping and receiving of freight moving from and to the combat center to a myriad of domestic and international destinations.
  • You will determine freight classification for a variety of unusual and standard items, some of which have no recorded or published classification.
  • You will conduct pre-audits of freight bill for correctness.
  • You will coordinate requirements for shipping and receiving of cargo and rolling stock for special training exercises and reserve units arriving at the activity on a continuing basis.
  • You will determine the appropriate type of carriers while considering any special routing required and/or special equipment needed.
