Our Client, a Japanese Freight Forwarder is looking for an Entry Writer/Import Operations Coordinator in their GA office.

  • Location: Forest Park, GA
  • Salary: 45-50k base + OT fee + benefits
  • Hiring Style: Full time/ Direct hire


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate air and ocean import shipments from arrival through final delivery.
  • Prepare shipment files and process ISF filings.
  • Coordinate customs clearance with customs brokers.
  • Communicate with carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and customers.
  • Complete billing and invoice processing in a timely manner.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding import shipments and customs-related matters.
  • Maintain shipment records and documentation.
  • Ensure all shipments are handled accurately and efficiently.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or import operations prefered.
  • Experience with air import and/or ocean import operations.
  • Knowledge of Customs Entry procedures, ISF, AMS, and import documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Japanese skill is a big plus.
