Long Description

JOB SUMMARY

Analyst will assist the Materials Planning Department, by generating real time reporting for EDI, MRP and KPIs to the group. Will also assist in duties such as Supplier Reconciliations, Aged Inventory Analysis, Freight Analysis, Container Management along with other duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Generate EDI reports from SAP, with customer demand and distribute analysis reports.
  2. Participate in MRP / SAP Cleanup activities.
  3. Track and report out department KPI's
  4. Review Aged Inventory at Sub-Suppliers, pushing disposition and generate aged inventory reports
  5. Monitors and reports receipts, production, scrap, and other inventory-related data on the computer to accurately maintain inventory levels of production material;
  6. Performs Supplier Reconciliations in SAP
  7. Tracks and controls container management for Sub-Suppliers
  8. Analyzes cycle count adjustments to ensure accurate inventory accountability and make recommendations to the Materials Manager;
  9. Handles Freight needs for department (UberFreight) - maintaining dedicated lanes and analyzing premium freight.
  10. Works with Finance to close out open invoices that may have discrepancies.
  11. Creates and Maintains Service Demand Analysis
  12. Support team functions by:
    1. Kaizen submittal and implementation
    2. Cross-training with others
    3. Backfills other materials positions as needed
    4. Problem solving
    5. Supports materials metrics and meets materials needs
  13. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor's Degree
  2. Or 3-5 years manufacturing/planning experience
  3. SAP experience
  4. Excellent Excel and Reporting experience
