Job description

Position Summary
Mueller Streamline Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Freight Audit & Payment Analyst to develop, optimize, and manage various freight processes across our Supply Chain Management function. This role serves as a critical point of contact for internal teams and external vendors, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our transportation data, billing, and system workflows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve payment file reports and manage exceptions.
  • Weekly reconciliation of electronic funding requests
  • Assist Customer service with tracking, POD, shipping errors, and returns
  • Resolve freight bill issues
  • Coordinate with clerk to ensure freight information is accurate and timely
  • Audit invoices and prepare payment files for Import shipments
  • Analyze Parcel reports. Resolve incorrect billing, communicate address and account errors
  • Daily communication with third party freight bill audit Company concerning all aspects of the freight bill payment process
  • Process, file, and track Freight Claims as submitted by Sales/Customer Service
  • Maintain BOL and Carrier data within QAD
  • Assists with Carrier Bid Events, managing data and contract files
  • Primary Point of contact for TMS and QAD Freight related process issues
  • Provides various freight bill payment reports for management
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Benefits
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree OR 3 to 5 years of practical experience in transportation, customer service, or accounts payable.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in transportation administration is highly preferred.
