About the Role

Ā We're hiring an International Freight Forwarding Quoting Specialist to join our Baltimore, MD team. This role focuses on building accurate and competitive air and ocean freight quotes for a wide range of international shipments, including commercial and government/defense logistics.

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Previous freight forwarding or logistics experience is helpful, but we are also open to candidates with strong analytical skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What You'll Do
  • Build accurate and competitive air & ocean freight quotesĀ 
  • Develop customized pricing solutions for commercial and government/defense shipmentsĀ 
  • Source and negotiate rates directly with carriers, agents, and vendorsĀ 
  • Analyze routing, transit times, equipment, and compliance requirementsĀ 
  • Manage quotes within strict deadlines with a high level of accuracyĀ 
  • Utilize CargoWise for quoting and rate analysisĀ 
  • Partner with sales and operations to convert quotes into shipmentsĀ 
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in international freight forwarding pricing/quoting (air & ocean)Ā 
  • Strong knowledge of global logistics and transportation modesĀ 
  • Confidence negotiating rates with carriers and vendorsĀ 
  • Excellent organization and communication skillsĀ 
  • CargoWise experience preferredĀ 
  • Comfortable working with technology and AI-assisted tools for quoting, pricing, or workflow efficiencyĀ 
  • Ā This is an on-site position and candidates must reside in either the Greater Baltimore, MD area or the Los Angeles, CA area to be considered. Candidates outside of these locations will not be considered at this time, as relocation and sponsorship are not available.Ā 
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)Ā
