Job description
THIS IS A 10 MONTH POSITION!! AUGUST-MAY SCHEDULE!!
Responsibility #1
- Provide staff leadership to the After-School Program on-site as needed, including supervision of the after-school staff and programs; and to record and report data as required by the Ohio Department of Education, United Way of Greater Cincinnati and other funders.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Bramble Elementary School staff members by developing and expanding parent involvement in the following areas: Parent Workshops and Programs; Parent Teacher Organization; serve on the Health Wellness Team, Partnership Team.
- Responsible for entering and analyzing daily attendance data for students and adults in CAYEN.
- Responsible for recruitment and retention of students.
- Submit reports in accordance with established timelines and reporting requirements as specified for the Youth Quality Program Initiative and DESSA for the United Way of Greater Cincinnati.
- Attend monthly meetings of the Bramble Elementary School LSDMC and the Instructional Leadership Team.
- Attend periodic training as required for coordinators and site managers.
- Attend monthly meetings of the Cincinnati Public School’s Resource Coordinators.
- Ensure that child outcome data is collected and used to drive decision-making and impact. Work with the site manager to implement best practices and to develop model programs at the school sites to ensure the success of all students and families served by FamiliesFORWARD.
- Supervision and oversight of Kids Café Program data for the assigned after-school site, ensuring that all data are accurate and reported professionally to the Freestore Foodbank. The report is to be submitted by the 5th business day of the next month.
- Supervision and oversight of Snack Program data for the assigned after-school site, ensuring that all data are accurate and reported professionally to the Cincinnati Public Schools Food Services. The report is to be submitted by the 5th business day of the next month.
- Responsible for professional growth and development and evaluation of after-school staff.
- Responsible for maintaining an acute awareness of the academic direction of Bramble Elementary School and ensuring and supporting this decision in the After-School Program.
- Supervision and oversight of Power Pack Program data for the assigned after-school site, ensuring that all data are accurate and reported professionally to the Freestore Foodbank. The report is to be submitted by the 5th business day of the next month.
- Supervision of all After-School Program staff and supervision of compliance with requirements of child-care licensing.
- Student Academic Achievement: Lead and manage academic homework/tutor assistance program to include:
- Liaison with school administration and staff.
- Staffing, scheduling and management of tutors.
- Develop and maintain student academic folders.
- Collection of student daily assignments.
- (e.) Assist Resource Coordinator with collection, tracking and record-keeping associated with Homework Help.
- Will meet with staff members to review midterm and quarterly grades, and
- benchmark testing results to determine tutoring support.
- Others as determined.
- Core agency activities and duties as determined by executive director/CEO
- Other professional duties, expertise, consultation, and good judgment will also be required for
- effective problem-solving as unanticipated issues arise.
- Required additional training and professional development opportunities to the employee to
- increase and broaden necessary professional skills to be effective and competent manager.

Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three (3) years experience as an administrator or agency manager of school-based programs or working with after-school programming.
- Completion of application and three (3) references
- Completion and passing of ALL required BCI, FBI and local background checks.
