Develop product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that guide content and campaign efforts Create high-quality, original written content for various platforms, including websites, articles, social media, email newsletters, video scripts, infographics, packaging, print and presentations. Conduct thorough research and gather insights to inform content creation and ensure accuracy and credibility.

Write clear, persuasive, and conversion-focused copy aligned with brand voice and product messaging that engages and resonates with Kreg's target audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, creative, customer experience, sales and product, to gather information and understand key messages and objectives for content development. Lead content ideation and brainstorming sessions, exploring innovative and creative ideas to differentiate our content and drive audience engagement.

Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, research, and ideation while maintaining brand quality and accuracy Develop and optimize AI-driven workflows and prompts to scale content production Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, tone, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring high-quality and error-free deliverables. Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO and AI Search) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.

Monitor content performance, conduct content audits, and analyze metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and drive content strategy decisions. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms, and apply this knowledge to continuously enhance our content efforts. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, offering constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.

Collaborate with external partners, such as freelancers and agencies, to supplement content creation and expand our creative capabilities when necessary.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 4-6 years' experience as a copywriter, content specialist, or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional copywriting skills. Deep understanding of marketing principles, consumer psychology, and the ability to adapt writing style and tone to different audiences and channels. Proficiency in storytelling techniques and brand narrative development to create engaging and memorable content.

Experience collaborating with design teams and understanding the relationship between copy and visual elements. Other Skills And Abilities We're Looking For Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style. Demonstrated ability to create persuasive and compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and drives desired actions.
