Job description

Position Summary
The Manager of Stadium Productions is responsible for leading control room operations, crewing, show execution, and live event production for all events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, including Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United FC, and third-party events (including NSWL 2028).
Reporting to the Director of Control Room Production, this role ensures the seamless execution of all in-game elements by translating creative direction into real-time show delivery. The Manager oversees control room workflows, staff, and systems, while collaborating across video production, motion graphics, digital, communications, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive storytelling that drives impactful in-game moments.
Roles and Responsibilities
Control Room & Show Execution Leadership
  • Lead all control room operations for game day and live events, ensuring seamless execution of rundowns, timing, and overall show flow
  • Execute the Executive Producer and Director's creative vision in real time, maintaining pacing, energy, and urgency throughout the show
  • Serve as the primary point of command in the control room during events, making real-time adjustments as needed
  • Oversee implementation and training for control room systems and equipment (Ross, Evertz, etc.)
  • Develop and enforce standardized processes, file structures, and usage protocols
  • Manage production calendars to ensure timely delivery of all assets
  • Ensure all video, graphics, and audio elements are accurate, tested, and fully prepared for execution

Team Leadership & Staffing
  • Manage control room staff, freelance crew, and event-day personnel, including scheduling and assignments
  • Lead training, onboarding, and development of control room team members
  • Maintain clear communication across all roles to ensure alignment before and during events
  • Manage performance management, staffing strategy, team goals, and team development

Budgeting & Resource Management
  • Oversee departmental budgets for event day production
  • Approve and manage vendor, freelancer, and contractor relationships
  • Evaluate and recommend investments in technology, software, and equipment
  • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of all production resources

Integrated Production Collaboration
  • Collaborate with video production, motion graphics, digital, communications, live events, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between content creation and show execution
  • Work closely with producers, show hosts, and talent to align segment execution with show objectives
  • Ensure sponsorship elements are executed accurately and integrated seamlessly into the run of show
  • Identify and source compelling video and photo content to enhance the in-game experience

Operational Management & Process Improvement
  • Oversee control room workflows, production schedules, and staffing plans
  • Manage content systems, playback readiness, and asset organization
  • Develop and refine processes to improve communication, efficiency, and execution across teams
  • Partner with Engineering to maintain technical standards and ensure system reliability
  • Oversee software updates, system integrations, and staff training schedules

Event Production
  • Lead control room production for major stadium events, private events, and corporate functions
  • Serve in a lead producer or front bench role on game day
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or production issues in real time

Quality Control & Standards
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards for Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium
  • Maintain strict quality control over graphics, video, data accuracy, and sponsorship obligations
  • Uphold high production standards that enhance the fan experience

Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Act as a liaison between control room operations and creative/production teams
  • Ensure alignment between the vision and execution across all events
  • Support broader Game Presentation and Stadium Production initiatives as needed
