This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level creative, current student, or recent graduate looking to build meaningful professional experience while helping shape the visual presence of an expanding brand.

The ideal candidate will have a strong visual eye, a good understanding of current social media content, and basic-to-intermediate experience shooting and editing video. Formal agency or production experience is not required. More important is creativity, reliability, an understanding of what makes content engaging, and a willingness to learn and experiment with new tools and formats.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
  • Create select video content for the company website and broader digital marketing initiatives
  • Film team, office, interview, behind-the-scenes, event, and lifestyle-oriented content
  • Edit footage into polished, engaging, platform-appropriate content
  • Assist with developing creative concepts and identifying opportunities for new social content
  • Repurpose longer-form footage into shorter clips for use across multiple channels
  • Incorporate captions, graphics, music, transitions, and other creative elements as appropriate
  • Utilize AI-powered editing and content creation tools to improve efficiency and expand creative capabilities
  • Stay current on social media trends, editing styles, and emerging digital content formats
  • Organize and maintain video files and content assets

Requirements

  • Some experience shooting and editing video through professional, academic, freelance, or personal projects
  • Strong visual sense and understanding of framing, composition, pacing, lighting, and audio
  • Familiarity with editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software
  • Experience with or strong interest in AI-powered video and editing software
  • Understanding of current social media platforms and short-form video trends
  • Creative, dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team
  • Comfortable receiving creative direction and adapting content to an established brand aesthetic
  • Access to camera equipment is helpful, though candidates capable of producing high-quality content with modern smartphones will also be considered
  • Current students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

This is a flexible, part-time freelance opportunity offering $30–$40 per hour, commensurate with experience and skill level, with the potential for consistent ongoing work as the company continues to expand its digital and social media presence.
