Job description

Description
Sprout Social is looking to hire a Strategic Services Consultant (Premier Success) on the Professional Services team as part of the Sales & Customer Experience organization.
Why join Sprout's Sales & Customer Experience team?
The Sales and Customer Experience team shapes how Sprout powers the future of customer connection for today's most innovative brands. We sell and support the leading social media management platform for businesses, helping organizations unlock the full value of social. Through powerful social intelligence and trusted partnership, we enable teams to build authentic relationships and drive meaningful business impact.
You'll join a high-performing, collaborative team made up of some of the brightest minds in the industry, working with iconic brands like Campbell's, Salesforce, Airbnb, and Equifax. Just as importantly, Sprout is a place where your growth matters. You'll have the freedom to shape your career, explore new paths, and build toward what's next, with a team that's invested in helping you get there.
What you'll do
  • Lead ongoing strategic consulting engagements that elevate our customers' social strategy, partnering with Customer Success Managers to help enterprise brands structure, refine, and scale their social media operations.
  • Optimize customers' social operations by evaluating workflows, aligning social media strategy directly to business objectives, and keeping customers informed of emerging industry trends and digital shifts.
  • Strategize with executive stakeholders (VPs, CMOs) on collecting, analyzing, and leveraging social intelligence and cross-platform analytics to optimize brand performance and demonstrate clear ROI.
  • Leverage our Professional Services technology stack (Kantata, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and approved AI tools) to manage project timelines and execute high-quality customer deliverables.
  • Execute tailored Premier Success deliverables - such as custom performance reports, executive presentation decks, social care and publishing playbooks, workflow audits, and interactive strategy workshops.
  • Support customers in mastering complex social strategy use cases, including influencer marketing programs, social customer care workflows, and employee advocacy initiatives.
  • Drive continued growth and feature adoption across customer organizations as product capabilities and customer needs evolve.
  • Help operationalize internal consulting services, standardizing workflows and templates to elevate the overall capability of the Professional Services team.

What you'll bring
Sprout Social is looking for a Strategic Services Consultant who can deliver high-value Premier Success engagements to enterprise customers. The ideal candidate possesses deep social industry knowledge, strong executive presence, and a data-driven approach to solving business challenges. You are comfortable advising Director- and VP-level stakeholders, translating complex social media data into actionable strategy, and providing hands-on platform optimization. Candidates should have excellent project management skills.
The minimum qualifications for this role include:
  • 4+ years in social media strategy, professional services, or strategic SaaS consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience in social strategy development and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience developing custom consulting deliverables, executive playbooks, and strategic reporting frameworks.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing customer engagements and deliverables concurrently.

Preferred qualifications for this role include:
  • Prior background in a social agency, enterprise brand social role, or dedicated SaaS consulting practice.
  • Subject matter expertise in sophisticated social strategy domains, such as influencer marketing, social customer care, or employee advocacy.
  • High data literacy with proven ability to turn social intelligence, listening metrics, and native platform insights into business growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience delivering executive-level recommendations and leading interactive workshops.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional software lifecycle collaboration alongside Customer Success, Sales, and Product partners.
  • Professional fluency in Portuguese (verbal and written)

How you'll grow
Within 1 month, you'll plant your roots, including:
  • Experiencing Sprout's in-depth onboarding, covering everything from our company mission and values, hearing directly from executives and founders, to deep training on our products and the value that Sprout delivers to our customers.
  • Making a plan with your manager to set initial priorities, aligning on expectations for your role, planting goalposts for your career, and learning about Sprout's approach to helping customers see social differently.
  • Meeting with your Professional Services peer mentor and gathering learnings to implement into your role.
  • Fully understanding our Services offerings, from delivery to project management to reporting.
  • Shadowing Strategic Services Consultants on calls to learn relevant customer stories and case studies from the field.

Within 3 months, you'll start hitting your stride by:
  • Building connections with members from other teams through active networking and community building.
  • Developing a clear understanding of the entire Sprout platform, its features and use cases, and gaining the ability to explain them to customers.
  • Getting to know and beginning to build working relationships with stakeholders throughout our Sales, Customer Success, Product and Marketing teams.
  • Leading services projects independently and clearly communicating results and deliverables to customers.

Within 6 months, you'll be making a clear impact through:
  • Holding your first performance conversation with your manager, where you'll discuss your accomplishments in your role and work together to build goals for your professional growth.
  • Becoming a Sprout Social product expert to confidently speak to ever-changing trends, new product features and platform enhancements to help our customers realize their full potential and accomplish their goals.

Within 12 months, you'll make this role your own by:
  • Becoming a go-to resource for the Professional Services team and the larger Sales & Customer Success organization. You will deliver at a high level each day and make an impact outside of just customer work.
  • Surprising us! You will use your unique ideas and abilities to change your team in beneficial ways that we haven't even considered yet.

Of course, what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.
