Location: Murrysville / New Stanton, PA (On-site, with travel)
Pay: $32.00โ€“$37.00/hour + potential annual bonus
Schedule: Full-time (OTR / non-local routes)

Overview

We are seeking experienced CDL A Truck Drivers to support the testing and operation of advanced autonomous trucking technology. This role combines commercial freight hauling with real-world testing of next-generation systems.

You will play a critical role in ensuring safe operations, monitoring vehicle performance, and providing feedback that directly impacts the future of self-driving freight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on public roads during testing and pilot operations
  • Haul commercial freight between customer locations and meet points
  • Monitor vehicle performance and provide detailed feedback on system behavior
  • Use smartphone/tablet tools to log routes, assignments, and test results
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
  • Perform vehicle inspections and ensure operational readiness
  • Remain alert during extended periods of autonomous driving
  • Uphold strict safety and operational standards
Schedule & Work Details
  • OTR (Over-the-Road) driving โ€“ not local routes
  • Flexible schedule based on testing and freight timelines
  • Typical hours when local: 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM + overtime
  • Frequent travel across multiple states, potentially for multiple weeks at a time
  • May include overnight runs depending on testing and freight schedules
  • Ability to work up to 5 consecutive days across varying shifts required
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license with Air Brake endorsement
  • Minimum 3+ years of Class A driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices)
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
  • Ability to operate sleeper cab trucks and handle long-haul routes
  • Willingness to travel frequently across states
  • Ability to pass:
    • DOT Physical and maintain Medical Examinerโ€™s Certificate
    • Background check and employment verification
    • Drug & alcohol screening (FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance)
  • Completion of sleep apnea screening within required timeframe
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (smartphone/tablet use)
