Job description

Job Description:
Easterseals residential facilities provide 24-hour support to youth ages 5-21 with neurological and/or psychiatric disabilities. It is designed for males and females with psychological/emotional or neurological disabilities including pervasive developmental disorders, nonverbal learning disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.
Responsibilities: In this role you will oversee all aspects of nursing including hiring, training and developing staff, coordinating with program staff to meet the needs of our clients and well as providing direct nursing care to our clients. You will be responsible for the ongoing medical monitoring and quality assurance of medical care according to Easter Seals medical policy and procedures. You will be responsible for assessment and triage of clients, ordering and transcription of medications, participating in educational groups with clients and staff, documentation including daily nursing reports and communication to staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing from an accredited college, Master's Degree preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse
  • A minimum of six years' nursing experience with at least two years working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disorder or equivalent
  • Administrative experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Hours: Full-Time, M-F 8-4 On - call is required
Compensation: $108,442.00 annually.
