About The Role
As an Associate Editor, you will support the editorial team with story development, editing, and publication. Working across multiple brands and verticals, you will help execute content from pitch to send, editing drafts, building articles in our CMS, and ensuring everything goes out in our newsletters on time. You will also work directly with freelance writers, editing submissions and keeping emails on schedule. This role offers broad exposure to every stage of our editorial process
Responsibilities
  • Edit articles for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to editorial standards
  • Build and program content in our CMS and email campaign tools
  • Work with freelance writers on drafts
  • Contribute story ideas across multiple brands and verticals
  • Maintain content databases and support editorial workflows
  • Uphold our editorial standards

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, creative writing, or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A clear sense of what makes a story work for an audience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to remote collaboration

Preferred
  • 1+ years of experience on an editorial team
  • Familiarity with Airtable and WordPress
  • Experience working with newsletters
