3S Intermediate Care Unit RN
3x12 or 4x12 NIGHTS 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
Unit Description: 8 IMC Beds / 10 Observation Beds (staffed separately); Variety of medical patients including but not limited to respiratory issues, DKA, arrhythmias, post operative kidney transplant patients, and interventional neurological patients. Capable of caring for telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs as well as the renal population
Orientation held every other week on Thursday
Ratios: 3:1 for IMCU / 4:1 for M/S
Experience Required: 2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required
First-timers accepted
Every other weekend required
Certs Required: BLS; ACLS required (must be AHA)
No call requirement
RN Can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs when required
Open to accommodating block schedule requests - discuss in interview
100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license but must have WV/Compact license active to start
No RTO restrictions; just discuss requests during interview
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48hr/week options - discuss with manager
Skills Required: STRONG IMC and/or ICU experience, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Ventilator Management.
Submission Requirements:
-Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
-Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
-Covid Vaccine NOT required
-ONE PDF MUST CONTAIN: Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Min. 2 Mgr/Charge References (within past 2yrs.), RN Lic. verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date - clean lic. required - hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval), Driver's License, SSN.
