  • You'll serve as a trusted technical resource on environmental compliance, permitting, site investigation, and remediation.
  • You'll help clients make decisions rooted in accurate data-through assessments, analyses, modeling, and reporting.

What You'll Bring
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; Chemistry; Environmental Science; or a related discipline. Or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4 years of relevant environmental experience or professional internships.
  • Strong hands-on skills with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience compiling or writing technical data and reports.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred
  • Master's degree and/or Professional Engineer (PE) credential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, air quality management, site investigation and remediation, and due diligence transaction projects.
  • Prepare environmental plans, permits, and reports related to hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, NPDES, wastewater, spill prevention, and EPCRA Tier II/TRI programs.
  • Perform environmental compliance assessments and support corrective actions to meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct air quality analyses, prepare emission inventory reports, quantify pollutant emissions and impacts, and evaluate air pollution control technologies.
  • Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to support property transfer transactions.
  • Conduct field activities, including sampling, ecological studies, drilling, well installation, remedial pilot tests, construction oversight, and O&M of remedial systems.
  • Provide general environmental compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance when needed.
  • Compile and evaluate environmental data; assist with report preparation.
  • Execute multiple projects within defined scope, budget, and schedule expectations, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers in effectively managing projects and client relationships.

For the Senior Consultant, Sustainable Operations position, the anticipated annual base pay is $82,300-$101,235 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
