As a Senior Logistics Manager, you’ll be trusted to shape logistics strategy for critical space radar systems that support national defense. Responsibilities Include: * Be the trusted logistics advisor — You will craft and deliver expert ILS solutions supporting advanced systems for the warfighter, influencing sustainment decisions and system suitability.
* Design operational excellence — Dive deep into technical analysis and operational scenarios, ensuring systems achieve required suitability for real-world performance.
* Lead and coordinate all logistics functions — From maintenance strategy and training programs to procurement, supply chain visibility, packaging, handling, and OCONUS transportation, you’ll oversee the full spectrum of logistics support.
* Plan with precision — You’ll coordinate mission-critical logistics operations—aligning funding, manpower, materiel, and facilities with program schedules to enable flawless execution.
* Deliver data-informed insight — Provide regular analytical support on logistics metrics like supply levels, reliability, and maintainability, feeding them into major logistics reviews for informed decision-making.
* Apply DoD acquisition expertise — Leverage your in-depth knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle and product support planning under the DoD 5000-series framework.
* Drive sustainment readiness — Conduct Logistics Health Assessments (LHAs), develop Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), and contribute to technical requirements, provisioning, interface control, and system support documentation.
* Lead logistics at key technical events — Represent logistics leadership at TIMs, design reviews, provisioning briefs, IPT discussions, working group meetings, and staff reviews.
* Collaborate across teams — Work closely with government and contractor logistics personnel, integrators, and product support teams to provide expert input on maintenance strategies, modifications, and acquisition planning.
* Be ready to mobilize — Travel domestically and internationally, supporting logistics efforts at CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed.
* Will perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications: * Experience executing ILS support for DoD Acquisition programs.
* Self-starter: ability to receive broad guidance and objectives and independently decompose them into detailed, actionable tasks; ability to adjust in a fluid environment.
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills with demonstrated ability to build consensus in a government/contractor team environment.
* General understanding of DoD tactical data link and communications systems
Minimum Qualifications: * Must be a US citizen
* Must hold an active Top-Secret Clearance
* 12 years of directly relevant experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD, OR, BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience, 4 of which must be in the DoD.
The expected annual salary range is $130k - $150k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidates experience and qualifications to include education, training and key skills. All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
