Overview

Waters Corporation isseekinga creative and detail-oriented Sr Content Strategist with copywriting skills to join our team. This roleis responsible forcrafting high-quality, engaging content that enhances Waters storytelling and digital presence. Working closely with Campaign Marketingand reporting to the Creative Services Leader,the Sr Content Strategist will translate complex scientific information into clear, compelling,digital-friendly, anduser-centric content that effectively communicates the value of Waters products and applications.ย 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own content strategy and messaging across the organization, creating integrated storytelling campaigns that span all digital channels - including Waters.com, blogs, email, social media, and collateral materialsย 
  • Lead in building messaging frameworks and narrative structures that align across channels and audiencesย 
  • Partner with Creative to ensure content and design work in concert from brief through executionย 
  • Partner with Campaign Marketing and Corporate Communications to ideate and produce content aligned with corporate messaging and strategic initiativesย 
  • Partner with Product teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and relevance of all contentย ย 
  • Transform technical and scientific content into accessible, customer-focused copyoptimizedfor engagement (click-through rate, time on page,andreduced bounce rate)ย 
  • Write, edit, and proof a wide range of content including whitepapers, application notes, product copy, campaign messaging, blog posts, case studies, and executive communicationsย 
  • Translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences including researchers, lab managers, procurement teams, and C-suite stakeholders.ย ย 
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities based on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insightsย ย 
  • Support lead generation efforts through gated content, nurture sequences, and SEO-optimized web copyย ย 
  • Support agency and freelance partners with clear briefs, feedback, and brand directionย 
Qualifications

Qualifications:ย 

    • 7+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or a related role - biotechnology, life sciences, or a related scientific field strongly preferred.ย ย 
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and complexity for different audiences and formats.ย ย 
    • Strong understanding of the biotechnology landscape, including familiarity with research workflows, instrumentation, or biologics development.ย ย 
    • Experience developing content for B2B audiences and multi-channel marketing campaigns.ย ย 
    • Experience working with andmaintainingaconsistent brandvoice and style guideย 
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.ย ย 
    • Familiarity with SEO best practices, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.ย ย 
    • Bachelor's degree in English with a focus in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.ย
