Afterward, you may handle post-event reporting and feedback analysis to help clients measure success. This dynamic workflow offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to develop strong project management and networking skills.

Job description

Experience Without Limits
Come shape the future of brand experience.

At Jack Morton, we design and build head-turning, smile-inducing, impact-driving brand experiences that redefine what experiential marketing can achieve. We help our clients unlock the full value of experiences by turning bold ideas into meaningful connections.
That takes a team that's bold, curious, and acts as one. We build on each other's ideas, challenge conventions, and show up for one another every day. Here, you'll do your best work, grow quickly, and partner across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.
This is a place where curiosity drives what's next, boldness raises the bar, and every win is shared. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the passion and talent of the people behind it.
Experience without limits-in your work, your growth, and your impact.
As an Executive Producer, you are a senior production leader with deep B2B conference experience and B2C experiential expertise. You are accountable for the successful delivery, financial health, and team leadership across complex Automotive programs. You bring rigor to process, confidence to client relationships, and calm leadership to fast-moving environments.
This role is based in Detroit and reports directly to senior leadership.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand project scope, goals, and deliverables to translate creative concepts into actionable production plans
  • Own the successful delivery of multiple complex programs from pre-production through reconciliation
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of all active projects, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities
  • Ensure programs are appropriately staffed and resourced based on scope, complexity, and timing
  • Act as a visible champion for your team and create learning opportunities, particularly around budgeting, reconciliation, and agency tools
  • Step in as needed to support execution, decision-making, or issue resolution during critical moments

Event Production & Execution Excellence
  • Partner with Creative and Account leadership to ensure production is embedded early and effectively in the creative process
  • Share insights, ideas, and solutions to develop project timelines, budgets, and workflows, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned in the process
  • Act as a liaison between teams to ensure alignment on project goals. Serve as a reliable point of contact, keeping the team updated on project progress and gathering feedback to ensure expectations are met
  • Protect the integrity of the creative vision across all deliverables while balancing scope, budget, and timeline
  • Continually seek innovative production solutions, methodologies, and partners
  • Manage on-site operations during B2B and B2C events, such as supplier coordination, set-up and dismantle, and troubleshooting to ensure flawless execution
  • Anticipate potential challenges to adapt quickly, problem-solve, and maintain composure in a fast-changing environment

Financial Management
  • Own the fiscal health of programs, including forecasting, budget tracking, and reconciliation
  • Oversee third-party costs, supplier engagements and freelance engagements
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of suppliers, negotiating specifications and ensuring high-quality delivery of goods and services
  • Review and approve 3rd party invoicing, ensuring accuracy and accountability against approved budgets

Post-Event Wrap-Up & Reporting
  • Compile and organize all project documentation, including final budgets, production schedules, and feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Support in developing post-event debriefs, highlighting key learnings, successes, and opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to the continuous refinement of internal processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Active Participation in Jack Morton's Community & Culture
  • Embody and advocate for Jack Morton's values by participating in team-building initiatives, office events, and agency-wide programs.
  • Actively engage in learning opportunities such as training sessions to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Share knowledge, insights, and experiences with colleagues to strengthen the agency's collective expertise and create a culture of continuous improvement.

What we require:
  • In addition to a college degree, 15+ years of professional experience in live event production with at least 5 years leading complex programs
  • A passion for Production and delivering impactful B2B and B2C experiences
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and/or project elements
  • Proven large-scale business meeting experience and understanding of theatrical planning is a must
  • Extensive Experience with AV, lighting, staging, etc. and familiarity in working in and with event venues, production companies, event staffing, unions, catering, etc. is required
