Job Title: Building Automation Sales Representative Location: Houston, TX Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and field

Overview Our Client is a Houston-based Building Automation Systems (Automated Logic Dealer) and HVAC Controls contractor providing building automation, controls, service, maintenance, retrofit, and energy-efficiency solutions throughout the Greater Houston market. System One is seeking a motivated Building Automation Sales Representative to help grow its customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and develop new opportunities with building owners, facility managers, property managers, mechanical contractors, engineers, and commercial customers. This is a sales producer position focused on generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and supporting profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with building owners, facility managers, property managers, contractors, engineers, and commercial customers.
  • Pursue BAS controls, HVAC controls, building automation upgrades, retrofit projects, maintenance agreements, and service opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support repeat work and long-term revenue growth.
  • Develop relationships with MEP engineers and mechanical contractors to support future project opportunities.
  • Identify owner-direct retrofit and energy-efficiency opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent sales activity, pipeline development, customer follow-up, and opportunity reporting.
  • Coordinate with estimating, project management, service, and operations teams to support successful project handover.
  • Represent ABS professionally in customer meetings, site visits, networking events, and industry functions.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Houston market.
