Job description

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Ecommerce Specialist, Marketplace & Pricing Compliance supports Chervon’s ecommerce operations, with a primary focus on Amazon account management, product listings, promotional execution, reporting, inventory coordination, and Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAPP) compliance. This role partners closely with internal teams, Amazon contacts, and external compliance partners to support product launches, monitor account performance, resolve operational issues, and ensure accurate, timely reporting. The position also plays a key role in identifying pricing violations, coordinating enforcement activity, communicating promotional updates, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen Chervon’s ecommerce presence and channel compliance efforts.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

Ecommerce

  • Support Amazon ecommerce activities, including account operations, product launches, promotional execution, and channel-specific initiatives.
  • Set up new items on Amazon in partnership with the ecommerce team, ensuring content and digital assets meet A+ Premium content standards.
  • Process Amazon and G10 purchase orders, partner with Finance to resolve financial issues, and coordinate with Operations to support timely shipments and adequate inventory for promotions.
  • Prepare management reports on Amazon activities, including sales performance, forecasting, inventory, promotional performance, and other key metrics.
  • Monitor competitive activity on Amazon and recommend appropriate marketing or merchandising responses.
  • Monitor intellectual property concerns on Amazon, including counterfeit products and unauthorized use of images or copy, and coordinate appropriate action with Amazon and Chervon Legal.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with Amazon vendor managers, customer success managers, and category contacts across OPE, Hazmat, and Power Tools.
  • Partner with Amazon and internal teams to resolve account, operational, product, inventory, or compliance issues.
  • Manage new projects identified by Amazon and Chervon through Joint Business Planning meetings to improve operational efficiency and product margins.
  • Maintain the Amazon EGO Brand Store in partnership with the Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the Amazon Back End Account Management (BEAM) team in Nanjing on promotions, budgets, analysis, and related account support needs.

MAPP Compliance

  • Track and report daily pricing violations across all brands.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly MAPP compliance reports.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance monitoring tools, including Precision and Vorys.
  • Coordinate MAPP enforcement actions with internal stakeholders, including Canada.
  • Manage weekly communication with the sales field and provide updates on upcoming promotions.
  • Lead weekly stakeholder meetings to review compliance activity, enforcement status, and promotional updates.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field preferred.
  • Two to three years of Ecommerce, marketplace, retail, account management, or related business experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, or similar marketplace platforms strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of online business fundamentals, ecommerce promotions, inventory coordination, and sales reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The salary range for this position is $60k to $75k. Offers are generally made between this range depending on skills, experience, and internal equity. In some cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer outside of the posted range. 

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility.

Travel:

This position may require occasional travel up to 10% for meetings with Amazon.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. Team members are expected to work in person at the Naperville, IL office a minimum of three days per week, with flexibility based on business needs.
