What are Freelance Adobe Analytics professionals?

Freelance Adobe Analytics professionals are independent experts who specialize in using Adobe Analytics, a powerful web analytics service, to help organizations measure, analyze, and optimize digital marketing performance. These freelancers assist businesses in setting up Adobe Analytics, troubleshooting issues, interpreting data, and providing actionable insights to improve online user experiences and business outcomes.

To thrive as a Freelance Adobe Analytics Specialist, you need a solid understanding of digital analytics, data interpretation, and web metrics, typically supported by experience in marketing analytics or a related field. Mastery of Adobe Analytics tools, familiarity with tag management systems (like Adobe Launch), and relevant Adobe certifications are highly valued. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help you deliver actionable insights to clients and stakeholders. These skills are crucial for deriving meaningful data-driven strategies that drive business performance and client satisfaction.

What are some common challenges freelance Adobe Analytics professionals face when working with new clients?

Freelance Adobe Analytics professionals often encounter challenges such as integrating with clients' existing data infrastructure, understanding unique business goals, and addressing data quality issues. Each client may use different website structures or tagging setups, requiring quick adaptation and problem-solving skills. Building strong relationships and establishing trust early on can help overcome these hurdles and ensure project success.

Job description

Company Description
Zenith is a full-service media agency with capabilities and expertise across all channels and disciplines. Zenith is part of Publicis Media, the #1 media buying network in the Americas and #2 globally. As "The ROI Agency," Zenith's expertise lies in driving real, tangible business outcomes, not just media metrics, that will have a measurable effect on our clients' business. Every investment we make has an ROI mindset-not just for our clients, but for our agency at large. We're focused on driving the maximum value for our people, our capabilities and our media investments for some of the world's leading brands.
Overview
What does Zenith Analytics do?
Working closely with both the Business Planning and Activation teams, Analytics designs the data strategy to tie our clients' marketing to real-world business goals. We then mine that data to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they're talking to the people they want, and if they're doing it the right way.
Responsibilities
What does a successful Manager look like?
We're don't all look the same, and we don't expect you to, either. But successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don't shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more.
Among Manager candidates, we generally look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. You should already be used to representing your team to external clients, since Managers are often the face of our Analytics team. We hope you're a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story. We're also hoping you have at least a year's worth of experience managing junior-level staff members and have at least three years of prior professional experience.
What does an Analytics Manager do day-to-day?
Our Managers work very closely with the Analysts and Senior Analysts to help them stay on track with day-to-day deliverables but also build great stories. Managers also work closely with their Associate Directors to formulate a vision for their accounts and then execute that vision with their Analysts and Senior Analysts. As such, Managers are mentors, managers, project managers, and thought leaders, all at the same time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field highly preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience; previous media agency experience highly preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience of junior-level staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word); Expert in complex Excel formulas
  • Robust experience with at least one major third-party ad server with site-side tracking (like DoubleClick, Atlas, or Sizmek)
  • Experience with a site analytics platform like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Knowledge of media channels (Search, Social, Display...etc.)
  • Strong critical thinking skills - able to perform client-critical analysis with limited oversight
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both external and internal clients
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of SQL is a must
  • Working knowledge of Tableau preferred
  • eCommerce reporting experience preferred
