Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking a Senior Analytics Analyst (ME&I) - Freelance with a desire to build their career in data, business marketing, strategic analysis and experiential analytics. To be successful in this role, you must be able to thrive in a creative environment where collaboration, client service, intelligence and humor are musts. For this role you will work with a global client (a Fortune 10 Technology Client). We uncover business crucial insights based on data that will help improve their business outcomes. The core of this role revolves around extracting data, compiling reports and creating delivering presentations. There will be many opportunities to work on a variety of unique and cutting-edge projects.
What you'll do:
  • Analyze| Provide digital and social media analytics data insights as well as other offline data to evaluate campaign performance and provide client communication, analysis and recommendations.
  • Workflow | Create custom Scorecards based on client goals to measure performance, as well as creating and presenting well-organized presentations and reports- adding insight to data while fielding strategic and technical questions. Your focus will be on ongoing social reporting, social listening consumer focused experiences.
  • Identify | Discover underperforming areas and identify opportunities to improve the consumer experience.

What you'll need:
  • 3+ year experience in analytics, data science, web strategy or online marketing.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong analytical skills to process large datasets and deliver actionable insights across media and marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated expertise with ongoing social reporting, social listening consumer focused experiences.
  • Measurement Frameworks: Experience in performance measurement, brand lift studies, and campaign effectiveness analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and presenting insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
  • Analytics Platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Media Tools: Nielsen, Comscore, DoubleVerify, MOAT.
  • Data Analysis Tools: Excel (advanced), Python, R.
  • Data Management: SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery.
  • Visualization Tools: Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Expert at working with online metrics, terminology, industry best practices, and industry trends.
  • Experience with web analytics (ie: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc).
  • Experience with social analytics (ie: Facebook, Twitter, Spredfast, etc).
  • Experience with Social Listening tools.
  • Experience with A/B Testing, usability studies, surveys, etc.
  • Relentless problem-solving abilities and desire for continued improvement.

This is an immediate W2 hourly need for a long-term Flex Talent assignment- the Hourly rate for this engagement will be $50 - $70 per hour and must ideally be able to work in a hybrid bases for any of the locations listed above. No 3rd party agency candidates will be considered at this time.
