To thrive as a Freelance Accessibility Tester, you need a solid understanding of accessibility standards (like WCAG), web development basics, and experience with manual and automated testing. Familiarity with tools such as screen readers (JAWS, NVDA), browser-based accessibility checkers, and knowledge of assistive technologies is typically required.
