Job description

SYNERGY HomeCare is quickly growing and is looking to add a highly motivated and results-driven Franchise Business Consultant to our team who will support our Franchise Partners in their assigned region. The Franchise Business Consultant is primarily responsible for driving revenue growth and providing consultative guidance to Franchisees regarding their overall business strategy especially as it related to sales growth, staff recruiting/retention, and portfolio profitability. This is a remote position, but the candidate must be based within their assign geographical region in U.S. Franchise Business Consultant base salary range 70k-95k DOE plus Incentive. This role supports the Eastern region of the U.S. and requires candidates to be located within reasonable proximity to a major airport.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Partner with franchisees to problem-solve operational challenges, providing coaching/ best practice guidance to develop short and long-term action plans effective at driving strong sales performance/profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular operational business reviews, and at least one in-person site visit per franchisee annually to identify areas of greatest opportunity to improve performance, control costs, ensure the consistent execution of operational standards and commitment to achieve their established revenue goals.
  • Coach newly opened franchisees and their office staff on best practices to accelerate growth, establishing expectations for SHC's brand standards compliance.
  • Influences buy-in/adoption/execution of SHC brandโ€™s new technologies, marketing tools, and other service programs.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for any company/field issues and coordinates cross-functional support to address any unique needs of your franchiseesโ€™ business (ie., operations, marketing, development, training, etc).
  • Foster strong partner relationships with franchisees that cultivates an open exchange of ideas and information sharing that will help develop future programs that add value to franchise support.
  • Act as an operational SME and help facilitate webinars, roundtable discussions, and other relevant training sessions.
  • Attend scheduled virtual and in-person meetings, Synergy University training, and our Annual Franchise Convention.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience driving measurable performance results as a Franchise Business Consultant
  • Strong business acumen and ability to read and interpret P&Ls, Income Statements, and other financial reporting tools.
  • Proven ability and experience to consult with and influence experienced business owners and leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide training to small groups.
  • Strong ability to problem-solve and think critically in many different types of situations.
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Travel up to 50%.
  • This is a remote position, but the candidate must be based within their assign geographical region โ€“ US

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Home care experience preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
