Mid-Level Franchise & Distribution Associate

Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Franchise & Distribution Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional matters involving franchise, licensing, distribution, M&A, and general corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on franchise, licensing, and distribution matters.
  • Support franchise program development, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements.
  • Assist with domestic and international expansion strategies.
  • Handle franchise-related M&A and other corporate transactions.
  • Work directly with clients on sophisticated matters and assume significant responsibility.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in M&A, general corporate, and/or licensing matters.
  • Franchise experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage a demanding workload.
