We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial experienced Product Manager to join the Burberry Makeup team.

THE ROLE

MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As our Senior Product Manager, you are responsible for driving the strategic development and growth of the Burberry Makeup category globally and you will be in charge of the growth of your lines with development supports teams and the 360-launch campaign management. You will participate in the category franchise positioning in key markets to recommend strategic moves, develop new business opportunities and create the 3Y relevant launch plan for these lines together with Product Development teams (key product initiatives, concepts, big idea, innovation, new campaign, …). Keeping close link with markets needs and trade marketing to work on relevant offer and align on strategy
  • You will define and develop the best outstanding support 360 toolboxes to achieve successful new launches or support existing lines aligned with markets and commercial needs. As well as follow development of communication assets in line with brand and line with expert teams and Fashion House (advertising, digital, POS) together with Marketing Manager. All project / 360 need to be developed with consistency with brand values and with a focus on creativity / out of the box mindset and with sustainability in mind
  • You will ensure coordination with external partners (agencies, suppliers…)
  • You will be the key contact and federate, establishing strong connections with the expert functions to ensure a consistent 360 (product development team, digital, merchandising, R&D, trade marketing…)
  • You will follow up financials KPIs for your axis and you will be in charge of line budget
  • You will monitor sales (market shares, turnover, net sales) and the cost tracking, the margin objective and the profitability of the lines under responsibility
  • You will have the relationship with the Fashion House and Burberry internal creative studio for all assets development (products and campaigns from the brief to execution)

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Creativity (product & concepts), brand vision & innovation. From consumer insights to actual concepts
  • Leadership - Motivating others, communication, objectivity, integrity, initiative, impact, tenacity, autonomy, collaboration
  • Rigorous, business driven and a good team player with client-oriented mindset to be in close link with the Burberry Fashion House
  • Agility, precision, decision making, flexibility, good spirit, facilitate teamwork

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Master Degree in Marketing or Related Field. 5 years of Marketing and/or related experience
  • Global Marketing product development experience in Make Up
  • Fluent in English
