These pilots work for companies that manage and operate private jets, allowing individuals or businesses to own a share of an aircraft rather than purchasing one outright. Fractional Pilots typically follow a set schedule, often spending several days on duty followed by time off, and they operate various aircraft types depending on the program. Their responsibilities include flight planning, safety checks, and providing a high level of service to owners and passengers.
