You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the N4 LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER THIRD FLEET.

  • You will serve the Assistant Chief of Staff N4 Logistics and Materiel (Navy O-5) and provide expertise and assistance to the Commander and Staff in the management and operations of the logistical effort.
  • You will serve as the command Logistics, Materials and Facilities Manager and is the principal staff consultant for logistics and facility management activities.
  • You will ensure the efficiency of logistics, materials management and facility operations.
  • You will act as an advisor, trainer, and mentor to departmental supply leaders and representatives in the correction of incoming requisitions, sources of supply, and supply programs.
  • You will establish policies, procedures, standards, goals, and guidance in the area of facility engineering and management.
  • You will coordinate naval supply support for the maintenance/upkeep and repair of all office equipment and real property.
  • You will direct the operation of all construction, alteration and repair projects to minimize or ideally avoid adverse impact to CSG-15 operations.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: independently analyzing and resolving complex inventory management and equipment disposal issues, to include executing standard, non-standard, and open-purchase procurement actions utilizing Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), prime vendors, and government purchase cards for a command or organization.
