Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW / Modified Direct Hire Authority.   • You will participate in the development and design of new systems by assessing the supportability and maintainability of proposed systems and technology applications.
  • You will develop and implement the support and maintenance concepts and develops the maintainability requirements for assigned systems.
  • You will perform cost analysis and life cycle costing studies for assigned systems.
  • You will develop and approve logistic/maintenance requirements analyses; documentation requirements and other contractual documents based on input from logistic element managers.
  • You will direct the performance of logistics and maintenance analyses by the contractor.
  • You will plan and manage the actions required for procurement of resources needed for system logistic support.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Demonstrating competence in advanced theory, concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management;
  • Applying knowledge of full range of logistics support elements throughout the life cycle and taking concluding action on any area of logistics for the assigned weapon system;
  • Applying knowledge of Life Cycle Logistics Management System, the system/equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases; AND
  • Administering DOD budget processes; administrative relationships within the Navy and DOD; and administrative relationships with the Systems Command and field activities.
