*Job Summary: Flexible - Full-time, part-time, half-time, and PRN available. *Compensation: Starting at $18-$20/ hr. Job Description: Medical Assistants at The MediCentral will work in conjunction with providers to provide medical services to our community. We will provide an opportunity for you to utilize all of your skills from drawing blood, rooming patients, vital signs, and point of care testing. We are an ever growing, progressive, up-to-date health care facility, who truly cares about their staff. *Responsibilities: Using high tech equipment, asses and help providers in treatment of patients. Measure and record vital signs. Perform basic lab tests and EKGs. Prepare and administer medications and immunizations. Regular communication with providers regarding patient care both verbally and through the EMR. Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA safety standards. Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA. *Qualification/Education/Requirements: Current Medical Assistant Certification (Required) * 2 yearsโ€™ experience (Preferred) EMR experience (Required) Strong writing and verbal skills, Strong customer service skills.
