Forms+Surfaces designs and manufactures architectural products that shape some of the most visited public spaces in the world: airports, transit hubs, corporate campuses, civic buildings, and city streets. Architects and designers specify our work because it holds up to the demands of real environments and maintains a focus on design excellence.
We’re hiring a Junior Graphic Designer to join the Brand Design Group, our in-house team responsible for how F+S shows up across a wide-range of contexts. This role is for a designer who wants to develop range, to work across formats, sharpen craft under direct mentorship, and contribute to a brand whose work is visible in built environments around the world.What You’ll DoBrand and visual design
  • Design layouts for print and digital communications: email campaigns, web assets, brochures, sales collateral, and internal templates
  • Apply layout, typography, and visual hierarchy with care, maintaining consistency across every touchpoint
  • Support requests from sales, marketing, and product teams while keeping the visual system coherent
  • Continuously evolve the visual identity to keep it relevant, identifiable, and authentic to our core values
Digital and interactive design
  • Contribute to the design of web pages, digital interfaces, and component-based systems in Figma
  • Build layouts and prototypes that balance brand expression with real usability
Motion and storytelling
  • Develop 2D motion graphics for web, social, and presentation contexts
  • Help translate campaign concepts into cohesive visual narratives across formats
What You BringRequired
  • A portfolio showing conceptual thinking and visual consistency across print, digital, and motion
  • Solid command of layout, composition, grid systems, and typography
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma
  • 2D motion design skills demonstrated in your portfolio
  • Genuine curiosity about AI in design workflows and a desire to integrate tools like Claude into day-to-day practice
  • A collaborative working style, openness to direct feedback, and clear ambition to grow and learn
  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent demonstrated experience
