Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women's Healthcare, is a comprehensive solution for in-office Breast Imaging services. We utilize top-of-the-line equipment and expert staff with exceptional standards of care. Embedded within our network of affiliated OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one-stop solution for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.
Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist Float for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Miami and Wellington, FL.
The Mammography Technologists will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. The ideal candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of mammography. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills. Ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers.

Work Schedule: Coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
  • Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
  • Responsible for applying analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
  • Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
  • Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
  • Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
  • Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
  • Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
  • Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

Additional Job Functions:
  • All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
  • ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
  • State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
  • Maintain registry status and continuing education.
  • Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties.
  • Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English.
  • Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed.
