At Triangle Family Dentistry in Wake Forest, we are devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of our patients' smile using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures that will result in beautiful, long-lasting smiles! We provide comprehensive treatment planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve our patients' optimal dental health. Responsibilities:
  • Candidate must be a friendly, caring, goal and, team oriented individual that is self-motivated
  • We work smart as a team and we are looking for someone to come in and help us go to the next level
  • Study insurance plans used most frequently to understand the various limitations and guidelines
  • Document basic insurance information in the patient's file for quick reference
  • Calculate amounts due, so effective collection over the counter can take place during the day
  • Identify patients in the daily schedule who are a financial concern, note payment problems on the patient's chart
  • Verify in advance of treatment that all information required by insurance companies such as x-rays, charting, narratives, and other documentation is available for processing the claim when applicable
  • Correspond with insurance companies to review treatment coverage or denials
  • Handle all inquiries concerning insurance daily with a helpful and positive attitude
  • Willing to help in other areas as needed

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience and knowledge of dental insurance
  • Experience with TAB32 is a plus
  • Knowledge of English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Skilled in the use of standard office equipment, including telephones, calculators, copiers, fax, computers, and computer software (MS Excel, Word, Practice Management software)
