Interns typically analyze financial records, compile reports, and gain hands-on experience with forensic accounting techniques. They may also assist in litigation support, data analysis, and fraud prevention strategies. This internship helps build skills in auditing, financial investigation, and regulatory compliance, preparing interns for careers in forensic accounting.

To excel in a Forensic Accounting Internship, you need a strong foundation in accounting principles, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail, often supported by progress toward an accounting or finance degree. Familiarity with data analysis software like Microsoft Excel, financial databases, and sometimes forensic tools like IDEA or ACL is highly valuable. These skills ensure accurate financial analysis, efficient evidence gathering, and clear reporting in forensic investigations.
