What You'll Do

As a valued member of our team, you will:

  • Prepare, review, and file foreclosure sale documents, notices, bidding instructions, and sale confirmations
  • Coordinate with courts, sheriffs, master commissioners, auctioneers, vendors, and other third-party stakeholders
  • Monitor foreclosure sale timelines to ensure all deadlines and requirements are met accurately and timely
  • Conduct bankruptcy, military status, and related legal research searches
  • Provide support to attorneys while responding to client inquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Review property information, legal descriptions, tax records, and lien details for accuracy
  • Maintain accurate case records and updates within the firm's Case Management System and client portals
  • Manage post-sale activities, including deed preparation, surplus fund processing, and confirmation filings
  • Assist with electronic filings, mailings, and other administrative tasks as needed


    What You Bring

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • 1 to 3 years of Legal Assistant experience, preferably in foreclosure, real estate, or default servicing law
    • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team
    • Experience with foreclosure sale processes is a plus
    • Paralegal Certificate, Associate Degree, or related legal education preferred
