OVERVIEW:
The Retail Footwear Operations Lead is responsible for directing workflow and overseeing the daily
operations in the shipping/receiving area and for general maintenance throughout the store under
the direction of the Sales Support Manager. The job duties and responsibilities of this role include the
following:
  • Ensure that all merchandise and product received at the store is processed in accordance with established programs and procedures and that the department area is organized and maintained so that back stock merchandise is easily accessible. Ensure that all other Freight Flow processes are executed, including transfers, RTVs, claims, key recs, misdirected freight processing, etc.
  • Assist manager with department scheduling, directing workflow, daily associate assignments, and monitoring the freight flow process. Also, help communicate information to department associates regarding Company initiatives, programs, promotions, etc., and train new and current associates on freight flow procedures as needed.
  • Assist the store management team with general supervision in the store in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including carrying keys to open and close the store, performing Front End and Cash Office functions.
  • Engage in behaviors that are in line with the Company's customer service and selling program, thus providing all customers with an outstanding store experience.
  • Maintaining Company loss prevention standards and controls in the Department.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
