Job Title: Game Presentation & Fan Engagement Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Game Presentation & Fan Engagement
Location: Fishers, IN
Hours: Standard business hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This position will require occasional evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on the game and event schedule.

Job Summary:
The Indy Fuel and Fishers Freight Game Presentation & Fan Engagement Coordinator will support the planning and execution of a wide range of organizational and event operations. This role will collaborate across multiple departments and serve as a resource in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective communication, and successful event execution. The position will also assist with coordination involving staff, vendors, partners, and other game day stakeholders as needed.
This position will work with both the Indy Fuel of the ECHL and the Fishers Freight of the IFL.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee scheduling for the internship program, including hiring, office scheduling, and game day scheduling.
  • During football season, serve as the game day point of contact for away teams and game day assistants.
  • Request, gather, and organize all in-game graphics and prizes needed for game day.
  • Prepare and organize materials and equipment needed for in-game intermission activities and media timeouts.
  • Serve as the floor manager during game days to assess fan engagement and assist with audio/video quality control.
  • Assist with community outreach events and other off-ice initiatives representing the Indy Fuel and Fishers Freight.
  • Support the setup, execution, and teardown of game day events and promotions.

Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in sport management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of game day operations experience; hockey experience is a plus.
  • Confident and creative thinker with experience brainstorming and developing unique promotional strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Must be willing to work long and non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Will help develop and execute the team's annual promotions schedule, including themed game night promotions for all regular season home games.
  • Will direct the team's in-arena show from the floor on game nights to maximize the fan experience.
  • Will assist the Director of Game Operations with managing all game presentation and fan event staff, including but not limited to the public address announcer, video board operators, music operator, lighting, ice-level promotions staff, mascot, and others.
  • Will plan and activate arena lobby and other on-site fan experiences during home games and special events.
  • Will collaborate with other departments to secure sponsor and promotional elements including scripts, videos, giveaways, props, prizes, and more.
  • Will bring theme nights to life by leading the development of promotional activities and booking characters, special guests, and event partners.
