Be registered full-time for the respective semester - nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

Office of the Registrar is looking for Graduate students seeking a part-time position to provide support and assistance.
  • Provides support to faculty, staff and students and performs duties as assigned.
  • Assists with complex tasks and imaging related to record keeping and documentation.
  • Organizes communications and written materials to increase department efficiency.
  • Assists with special projects, assigned office tasks, preparation of communications, and planning and execution of events.
  • Provides specialized support that requires computer skills, data entry accuracy and software savviness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a regional accredited institution.
Be a current full-time UTRGV Graduate student (9 hours during the Fall or Spring semester and 6 hours during Summer months).
Be able to work physically at the Edinburg Campus.
Must have a superior level of customer service.
Must have excellent organizational and project management skills.
Be able to multi-task.
Ability to learn various operational systems.
Work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
Must possess superior interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized multitasker
Must be able to prioritize work in order to meet multiple deadlines.
6 months of customer service experience.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (speak, read, and write).
