Location: Knox City, Texas, USA

Position Type: Coaching/Social Studies Teaching Field

Job Description: As a Coach at Knox City High School, you will play a pivotal role in the development and success of our student-athletes. This position offers the opportunity to lead and inspire young athletes in atheltics as well as the classroom, contributing to their growth both on and off the field. The position is flexiable to Head Spring Sport, whatever fits best for the applicant, could be Softball or Track. Also, includes assistant duties in Football or Volleyball (best fit) and Basketball. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective training programs.
  • Conduct skill-building sessions and provide strategic guidance to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Coordinate and oversee practices, games, and competitions.
  • Cultivate a positive team culture focused on sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
  • Monitor the academic progress and well-being of student-athletes, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive athletic program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (teaching certification preferred but not required).
  • Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Genuine passion for working with young athletes and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of student-athletes.
