Day Early Learning: State
Seeking responsible workers to operate a small warming kitchen that feeds infants through pre-k children breakfast, lunch and snack.
Duties include:
  • Maintain health and safety standards by cleaning your equipment and workstation frequently throughout your shift
  • Properly store and restock food, cleaning, and cooking supplies throughout each shift
  • Serve precisely measured food to school age youth
  • Engage with students and staff in a friendly, positive manner
  • Organizing inventory
  • Counting Inventory
  • Preparing and setting up food for service
  • Serving food according to strict serving sizes
  • Clean up kitchen area after service
  • Must become familiar with food allergy list, specific menu changes and offerings
  • Must prepare and be ready to serve according to location's serving schedule
Abilities:
  • Knowledge of food service and sanitation
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work as a team with other people
  • Must enjoy working with children
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Satellite location
  • Must be able to pass Federal background check, which includes fingerprinting an extensive background check. (Required due to the security standards of the location)
  • Serve Safe certification a plus, otherwise must be attained within 30 days of employment
