Job description

This person works as a team to provide food service that is safe, accurate, timely and responsive to the customer and patient's needs. Food service includes stocking, assembling, and serving portion controlled hot and cold food, replenishing and stocking stations, and cleaning and sanitation of food service areas and equipment in a safe manner. This person may be cross trained to work in several areas within Nutrition & Food Services and is expected to have a strong foundation in the different shifts and positions in foodservice to enable them to support management and operations. Retail Food Service includes serving. Cashiering consisting of a large percentage of the duties performed, bussing, and barista duties. Patient Food Services includes assembly and delivery of patient meal trays and sanitation of food service areas.
