Soups & Sweets Instructor (27–30 hours/week)

Do you love teaching, cooking, and making an impact? Join the Soups & Sweets program as a hands-on Cooking/Baking Instructor and support individuals with disabilities build real-world skills for meaningful careers in food service.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver engaging, interactive cooking and baking instruction
  • Teach essential culinary techniques, food safety, and presentation
  • Plan menus, shop for ingredients, and prepare lessons for instruction
  • Foster a safe, supportive learning environment modeling positive workplace communication
  • Maintain a clean, organized Kosher kitchen that meets health department standards

What You Bring

  • Proven skills instructing individuals with disabilities
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts (or equivalent professional training)
  • Minimum two years as a chef, sous chef, or culinary instructor in a professional kitchen or food service operation
  • Strong culinary knowledge in cooking, baking, food safety, and presentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with flexibility to adapt
