Job description

We are seeking a part-time aide to support our high school Culinary Arts program and manage the day-to-day operations of our student-run restaurant, The Bistro. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional kitchen and dining environment while assisting the instructor and students during lab and service hours. Responsibilities include preparing for daily service, overseeing inventory and supplies, and helping students develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in the food service industry, including restaurant operations, front-of-house service, and point-of-sale systems. A strong understanding of kitchen safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with high school students and staff is essential. Candidates should be flexible, organized, and committed to supporting a high-quality career technical education program. Successful candidate must be able to obtain appropriate educational aide certification, including successful background check (both FBI and BCII).
