Position Overview

The Server Assistant supports the Food & Beverage team by ensuring dining areas are clean, organized, stocked, and prepared to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role assists servers and restaurant leadership with table maintenance, food delivery support, and operational readiness while maintaining the high service standards expected within a luxury hotel environment. The Server Assistant plays an important role in supporting smooth operations and enhancing guest satisfaction across all dining outlets.


Guest Service & Dining Support

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally while supporting overall dining room hospitality
  • Assist servers with delivering food, beverages, condiments, and service items to guest tables
  • Refill water, bread, beverages, and other table items as directed by service staff
  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to guests when needed
  • Support food runners and expeditors during high-volume service periods


Restaurant Operations

  • Clear and reset tables promptly according to established service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side stations
  • Polish glassware, silverware, and service equipment as needed
  • Assist with table setup and preparation before service periods
  • Maintain stock levels of linens, utensils, glassware, ice, and service supplies
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and leadership teams to support smooth operations
  • Assist with opening and closing side work duties including cleaning and organizing service areas
  • Support banquet and special event operations when required
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Report maintenance concerns, spills, or safety hazards promptly to management

  • Maintain professional appearance and follow company grooming standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Food & Beverage operations
