Job description

We are seeking reliable Production Associates to support fruit and vegetable processing operations. This role involves preparing, cutting, packaging, and handling fresh produce in a refrigerated, food-safe production environment. Work is repetitive and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and adherence to strict food safety standards.

Pay Rate

  • 1st Shift: $14.00/hour
  • This is a long-term full-time position with weekly overtime

Schedule (1st Shift – Monday through Saturday)

  • Cutting Department: 5:30 AM until production ends
  • Packaging Department: 6:30 AM until production ends

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare fruits and vegetables using hand-held cutting tools
  • Operate equipment such as vegetable dryers, electronic scales, and packaging machines
  • Package finished products, ensuring correct weight, code dating, and seal integrity
  • Build boxes and palletize finished goods
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Report any illness or contamination risks before starting work
  • Immediately report any contamination or safety concerns to a supervisor
  • Follow all company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions

Work Environment

  • Refrigerated food production facility
  • Repetitive tasks requiring standing for long periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • No experience required – on-the-job training provided
  • Experience in food processing is a plus
