Job Description

We are looking for a steady and organized individual to assist us with product testing l. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You will also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and update progress trackers.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • General computer skills.

    • Basic Windows navigation.  

    • Copying, pasting, moving files within and between file directories.  

    • Updating spreadsheet trackers, managing spreadsheet updates in real time. 

    • Adept at data entry (keyboard entry of sample ID numbers and test values)

  • Ability to repeat process steps hundreds of times in a given shift and remain focused on the task at hand.

  • Ability to maintain a visual and functional work flow (work completed separated from work in progress and further separated from work to be done).

  • Excellent hand-to-eye coordination (applying labels to backing templates, cutting template pieces, etc...)

  • Ability to work around distractions (operator traffic, requests for updates, etc...)

  • Perform all duties in full compliance of all laws, safety and environmental regulations, and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures

  • Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.

  • Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.

  • Flexibility to manage changing activities / projects

Qualifications
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.

  • Reliable transportation to and from work location

  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for 10-12 hour shifts.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance periodically through the shift
