We are a leading food manufacturing facility committed to quality, safety, and operational excellence. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our production running smoothly.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will perform basic and advanced maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in industrial maintenance, particularly within food processing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including injection presses, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC, chillers, dryers, and compressed air systems.
  • Support sanitation and food safety compliance through equipment upkeep.
  • Document maintenance activities using CMMS software.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets operational and regulatory standards.
  • Follow up on maintenance task for adequate resolution with key internal customers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (food industry preferred). The ideal candidate has >5 years of comparable industry maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, and pneumatics - required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals - required.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards - preferred.
  • Trade school certification or technical training is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands
  • Climb ladders and ability to work at height
  • Knowledge of OSHA/LOTO and ability to work in tight spaces.
  • Push/Pull with force.
  • Lift and move items >50 lbs.
  • Change positions and stand repeatedly.
