Job description

Epting Events is a family-owned business inspired by the unique charm of the Southeast. Our team is a diverse group of friendly, professional, and creative individuals, including chefs, bartenders, gardeners, florists, musicians, painters, filmmakers, and historians. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Server.

**Position Overview:**

The Server plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by setting up tables and food service areas with chairs, linens, and dishes. This part-time position requires availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with the potential for additional hours during peak seasons. We are looking to fill several positions immediately for upcoming weekends.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Set up and prepare tables, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, refill drinks, and clear dishes.
  • Clean up and dismantle dining areas, including removing tableware, linens, garbage, and furniture.
  • Collaborate effectively with other servers and kitchen/bar staff.
  • Address guest issues positively and promote customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude at upscale events and private homes.

**Ideal Candidate Qualities:**

  • Experience in hospitality or serving is preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation, available for early/late hours.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
