Venue: Food Court

Location: Virgin River Casino - Mesquite NV | Department: Food Court Operations

Status: Non-Tipped Position

Summary

Sanitation Crew Members are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in all areas of the food court, including both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This non-tipped position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Clean and mop floors; apply floor dryer as needed.
  • Ensure Wet floor signs are out for safety.
  • Clean, sanitize and maintain equipment.
  • Maintain designated sanitation areas.
  • Detail Clean all areas designated by management.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas.
  • Clean and sanitizer trash cans
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.
  • Replace light bulbs as needed.
  • Unload delivery trucks and put away stock.
  • Stock, label and rotate supplies
  • Organize boxes, materials, and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Remove lint, dust, oil, and grease from lobby, production, and retail areas.
  • Detail clean all equipment
  • Follow and additional directions from management
  • Assist team members when needed

Qualifications:โ€ฏ

  • Must be at least 17 years of ageโ€ฏ
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly
  • Must have a valid SNHD Food Handler's card (NV health card)โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ
  • Valid TAM Card (alcohol awareness card) - Specific locations ONLY
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsโ€ฏ
  • Prior cleaning, sanitation, janitorial experience is a plus, but not requiredโ€ฏ
