In this role, you will be responsible for providing central oversight of the Quaker, Gatorade, PCNA, Joint Venture, and Frito Lay Warehouse product costing function. You will create and maintain PMD (Production Master Data) and standard costing as well as work closely with various cross-functional teams (including Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, Data Management Organization, etc.)

This is a hybrid role that can be based in our Purchase, NY, Plano, TX or Chicago, IL office.

Responsibilities
  • Perform standard costing functions, including costing runs for field locations as well as national average costing.
  • Create and maintain complex Bill of Materials (BOM) and other PMD for new copack innovations requiring in depth knowledge of technical requirements.
  • Review cost estimates created by junior team members to check for accuracy and provide approval prior to finalization.
  • Assist and provide direction to Operations on issues relating to bill of materials and costing.
  • Lead set-up of new copackers in collaboration with Operations.
  • Lead team through development of Annual Operating Plan by partnering with Operations, Supply Chain Finance, and Contract Manufacturing Managers.
  • Support any initiatives to improve accuracy of standard costs, identify root cause of recurring costing errors, and resolve system-related issue impacting internal control.
  • Collaborate with counterparts in Manufacturing, Planning, and Global Procurement to support cross-functional process improvements.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA required
  • 2+ years of experience
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm strongly preferred
  • Experience with SAP Product Costing preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • A proven ability to work well in a team environment across functions; interact effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
